Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in New Haven, Connecticut. As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing the firm's daily operations and providing essential support to our legal team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a firm committed to advocating for consumer rights.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. You will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and legal documents, and implement administrative processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Additionally, you will collect and organize evidence for attorney review, draft and proofread legal documents, and manage client billing processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree, or a Paralegal Certificate. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is required. Candidates should be highly organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

This on-site position offers the opportunity to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team.
