Litigation Paralegal - Chicago
We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegals to work with our clients, many of which are Fortune 500 companies across various industries. You would support attorneys across a variety of litigation matters, with a strong emphasis on full-cycle discovery, case management, and general litigation support. This is an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities include managing the full discovery process, drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery requests, coordinating document productions, and maintaining privilege logs. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive litigation support, including legal research, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and post-trial filings. Overseeing matter and case management, organizing case files, maintaining litigation calendars, and tracking deadlines are also key aspects of the role.
Candidates should have 9+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with demonstrated expertise in full-cycle discovery and case management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools, along with experience with litigation support software and document management systems, is required. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience working in an AmLaw200 firm or in-house legal department supporting litigation and corporate legal matters. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and stakeholders, are highly valued. Proficiency in managing litigation databases, e-discovery platforms, and case tracking systems is also advantageous.
