Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Hudson, Florida. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. This role offers an opportunity to be fully immersed in the legal process and gain direct experience alongside a dedicated team.
Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with case settlements.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least 2 years of litigation experience preferred. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is also preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, as well as knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, is required.
