Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with our skilled attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist attorneys with various discovery requests and case settlements.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of two years of litigation experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, and extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are essential.
