Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Manhattan office. This role involves working closely with a lead attorney and legal assistant to support the firm's mission of advocating for consumer rights.

The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Duties include e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, drafting and serving summonses, coordinating and summarizing depositions, and preparing trial binders and exhibits. The role also involves maintaining communication with clients, courts, and counsel, as well as organizing exhibits, documents, and evidence.

Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting is required, along with experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, first-party claims, medical malpractice, or other injury-related practice areas. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and manage workloads with minimal supervision are essential.

The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 USD, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
