Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Myrtle Beach, South Carolina office. This role involves close collaboration with a lead attorney and legal assistant, providing comprehensive support throughout the litigation process. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to our mission of advocating for clients in workers' compensation cases.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Duties include e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, preparing discovery documents and responses, coordinating depositions, and organizing trial binders and exhibits. Additionally, you will maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize case files, and liaise between trial teams and external parties.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a litigation paralegal, particularly in workers' compensation cases. An associate's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred, along with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
