Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Saint Augustine, Florida. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our attorneys, providing essential support before, during, and after trials. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal work within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with drafting and filing appellate documents.
The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of two years of litigation experience preferred. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is also preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, as well as a solid understanding of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, are required.
