Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our Los Angeles office. This role involves close collaboration with a lead attorney and legal assistant, contributing to our mission of advocating for consumer rights.
The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Duties include e-filing court documents in state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, drafting and serving summons, coordinating and summarizing depositions, and preparing trial binders and exhibits. Additional tasks involve maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits and evidence, assisting attorneys with discovery requests, liaising between trial teams and third parties, and supporting witness preparation and case settlements.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting is required. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, first-party claims, medical malpractice, or other injury-related practice areas is essential. The role demands strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position is on-site, with no remote or hybrid options available.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000 USD annually. Full-time employees are offered an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
