Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Fort Lauderdale. Established in 1988, the firm has grown to over 6,000 employees, including more than 1,000 attorneys, with offices across all 50 states.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to provide comprehensive support throughout the litigation process. Your responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints, as well as e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts. You will also communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, conduct legal research, prepare discovery documents, coordinate depositions, and assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and drafting pleadings.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience, with a preference for those who have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.
