Litigation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan, a prominent personal injury law firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their Louisville, Kentucky office. Established in 1988, the firm has grown to over 6,000 employees, including more than 1,000 attorneys, with offices across all 50 states.
In this role, the Litigation Paralegal will collaborate closely with a lead attorney and litigation assistant, contributing to various aspects of case preparation and management. Key responsibilities include drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda, as well as e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts. The position also involves client communication, conducting legal research, preparing discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and assisting in trial preparation.
Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred. A minimum of two years' experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting is required, particularly in areas such as Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Premises Liability, First Party, or Medical Malpractice. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. Note that remote or hybrid work arrangements are not eligible for this position.
