This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office and the option of one remote workday each week.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with attorneys and litigation teams to support complex matters. Your responsibilities will include obtaining medical records via authorizations and subpoenas, organizing discovery, case databases, and records charts, issuing Open Public Records Requests, conducting background research, reviewing and summarizing medical records and treatment chronologies, supporting depositions and discovery, managing document productions from opposing parties and co-defendants, preparing materials for expert witness review, maintaining well-organized, accessible case files, and preparing cases for and assisting with trials.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies. A minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense, is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, high organization and attention to detail, experience drafting subpoenas and tracking incoming records, proficiency with legal research tools and case management software, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential.

The compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 USD annually. Wilson Elser offers a competitive salary and benefits package designed to support their attorneys both professionally and personally. Benefits include a 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Joining Wilson Elser means becoming part of a collaborative and innovative team that values client service and mutual respect. The firm is committed to fostering an environment where employees are empowered to grow their careers, contribute meaningfully, and thrive professionally.
