The position is 100% remote, designed for an experienced paralegal located outside the United States, capable of working effectively within a U.S.-based legal environment during Eastern Time business hours.
In this role, the paralegal will draft and prepare various legal documents, including ordinances, resolutions, amendments, memos, contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and city agenda items for attorney review. They will manage a caseload of 100–120+ active matters, encompassing advice and counsel, advisory memos, departmental requests, special projects, contract reviews, and legislation. This is a 100% remote independent contractor opportunity with a monthly compensation of approximately $2,500–$3,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. The expected working hours are approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Please note that this role does not include traditional U.S. employee benefits or a paid time off package.
