M&A Associate / Associate Director / Director - Italian Speaking

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Italian-speaking M&A Associate, Associate Director, or Director to join its corporate development team in Brussels, Belgium. This team is instrumental in driving the company's strategic and financial growth through a dynamic merger and acquisition program across all business lines. The role involves frequent travel across Europe and occasionally beyond to engage with potential targets, partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the M&A process.

Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing potential partners, managing confidentiality agreements, and conducting preliminary data analysis. The role also entails evaluating targets, recommending deal structures, advising on negotiation tactics, coordinating due diligence activities, and overseeing the final steps to ensure alignment across all stakeholders. Additionally, the position involves monitoring post-closing obligations and preparing shareholder documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering from a top university and have at least five years of experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, investment banking, private equity, or consulting. A solid understanding of the M&A process and key transaction documents is essential. Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a plus. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment are also important.
