Major Account Manager
Arista Networks is seeking a Major Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization in Tennessee. This role will act as a trusted advisor and implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets within 10-15 enterprise-level accounts in the Nashville area and across Tennessee. The Major Account Manager will be responsible for exceeding measurable sales objectives and extending the Arista brand within a targeted list of enterprise accounts across Tennessee. Utilizing a consultative selling approach, the role involves addressing the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and siloed legacy IT systems across the Arista product portfolio, including Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, Cognitive Campus Networking, Mass Scale Wi-Fi, AI Networking, VeloCloud SDWAN, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), and AI-driven Network Identity Access security solutions. Key tasks include meeting with key influencers and decision-makers to present Arista’s value proposition, collaborating with systems engineers to design compelling solutions, and managing key channel relationships within the territory.
Candidates should possess a hunter mentality with a proven track record of technology sales, including cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new accounts. A BS/BA degree or equivalent and 7+ years of technology sales experience are required. Relevant experience in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN, SDWAN, AI, Storage) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is essential. Strong relationships within the territory, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical acumen in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing are also necessary.
