Major Account Manager
Arista Networks is seeking a Major Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This role is pivotal in expanding Arista's presence within Fortune 1000 accounts and developing new client relationships. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of skilled Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to deliver innovative networking solutions that address complex business challenges.
The Major Account Manager will be responsible for exceeding measurable sales objectives by utilizing a consultative selling approach. Key responsibilities include meeting with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to present Arista's value proposition, working with systems engineers to design solutions that reduce total cost of ownership, and collaborating with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions. Additionally, the role involves establishing and managing key channel relationships, formulating strategic account plans, and conducting demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.
Candidates should possess a BS/BA degree or equivalent and have a minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience. A proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets is essential. Relevant experience in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is required. Strong relationships within the territory, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical acumen in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing are also necessary.
Arista Networks offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $125,000 to $162,000, with the actual salary based on factors such as skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and location.
