Manager Captive Finance - New Market Entry (f/m/x)
AUTO1 Group is seeking a Manager Captive Finance - New Market Entry to join our Captive Finance team. This role focuses on expanding our internal consumer finance offerings across all Autohero markets. AUTO1 Group is a leading digital automotive platform, revolutionizing the used car market by providing seamless solutions for buying, selling, and financing vehicles.
In this position, you will collaborate with the Group Treasurer and Director of Captive Finance to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for entering new markets. Your responsibilities will include creating actionable project plans that consider competitive landscapes, regulatory requirements, operational needs, and credit risks specific to each market. Additionally, you will build relationships with external partners to develop top-tier digital financing products and lead cross-functional projects involving in-market management, tech development, legal, finance, and risk teams.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field from a top-tier university or possesses equivalent banking training. You should have at least three years of relevant experience in fintech startups or financial services, demonstrating a strong results-oriented mindset, initiative, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project management is essential, with experience in VBA and Redash considered beneficial. Fluency in English and at least one other language is required.
