Manager, Industrial Engineering
The Manager of Industrial Engineering at Anduril Industries will lead the industrial engineering team, focusing on developing and optimizing manufacturing operations to achieve superior quality, reliability, and efficiency. This role is integral to meeting critical customer deployment and internal development timelines within a fast-paced, innovative defense technology environment.
Key responsibilities include leading the industrial engineering team through all phases of product development, from initial prototyping to full-scale production. The manager will develop strategic concepts for new manufacturing facilities, design production lines and workstations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness and throughput. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations is essential to identify and resolve production challenges.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering, including managerial or supervisory roles. A proven track record in leading teams, developing new manufacturing lines, and driving production scaling efforts is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in ambiguous situations, are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also necessary to work effectively across all organizational levels.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $250,000 annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in most full-time offers.
