Manager, Media Planning
The Manager, Media Planning at WPP Media is responsible for directing day-to-day account activities and translating marketing and advertising objectives into comprehensive media strategies. This role involves developing media plans consistent with approved strategies and overseeing their implementation to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
Key responsibilities include partnering with directors on communication plan development, understanding client businesses to inform future work, supervising the execution of communication plans, conducting marketing and media analyses, and acting as the primary contact for planning and buying integration with external agency partners. The manager will also supervise and mentor associates, evaluate their performance, and provide updates to media and agency partners on account projects.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communication, or have equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 5 years in strategy or planning within a media agency setting is required, along with experience across all media channels, including print and out-of-home. Proficiency with tools such as MediaOcean and Prisma is preferred, as is experience in a data-driven environment. The role demands the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and adaptability to multitask effectively.
