Manager, Operational Excellence
eClinical Solutions is seeking a Manager of Operational Excellence to lead transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and scalability. This role is integral to the company's mission of accelerating clinical development through expert data services and the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and leverage AI and automation technologies.
The Manager will assess current workflows across key business functions, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. Responsibilities include creating process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and scalable operating frameworks. The role also involves designing and prototyping AI and automation solutions using large language models (LLMs), APIs, and low-code platforms to reduce manual effort and enhance decision-making. Additionally, the Manager will build reusable frameworks and playbooks for automation adoption and establish IT service management processes aligned with ITIL standards.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Operational Excellence or Process Transformation roles. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, as well as familiarity with AI and automation tools, is essential. Experience with ITIL frameworks and service management processes is also required. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and excellent stakeholder management skills are crucial for success in this role.
