Sr Data Engineer I Analytics

The Senior Data Engineer I at eClinical Solutions plays a pivotal role in designing and developing SQL code, managing projects, providing technical support, and overseeing clinical data services. This position is integral to the elluminate® platform, which accelerates clinical research and brings life-changing therapies to patients faster.

Key responsibilities include leading consulting efforts, configuring the elluminate® platform, and overseeing projects such as trial configuration, quality control, and project management. The role also involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying efficient SQL code to support SDTM, custom reports, and visualizations using tools like MS SQL, elluminate® Mapper, and Qlik. Additionally, the Senior Data Engineer I provides technical guidance, training, and support to team members and users on processes, technology, and products.

The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science, technical, or business discipline, with over 5 years of professional experience in a services or consulting role. Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL programming, and experience with multiple database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2 are essential. Familiarity with data reporting tools like QlikSense, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, and others is also required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry, as well as knowledge of clinical trial data standards like CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADAM, is considered a plus.
