The Manager, Partnership Marketing at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the Sports + Entertainment team, an award-winning division dedicated to connecting brands with consumers through their passions. This team leverages comprehensive consumer and brand insights, along with an intrinsic understanding of the media and cultural landscape, to help clients achieve their business and brand objectives. The division offers a full suite of services supporting the entire sponsorship lifecycle, including strategy, account management, project management, fulfillment, evaluation, negotiations, ambassador relations, and measurement.

In this role, the Manager will lead the work output and manage relationships with WPP clients, overseeing all aspects of their sponsorship portfolios. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with marketing objectives, demonstrating strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, and contributing to new business initiatives to drive the evolution and growth of the Canadian offering.

Candidates should possess an aptitude for critical thinking, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and analytically. Experience in brand and/or account management is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop strategic recommendations considering client objectives and key insights. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal abilities to navigate client and internal relationships, and an entrepreneurial, self-starter mentality are also required. Proficiency in PowerPoint, with the ability to create creative and visually impactful presentations, is necessary.

Compensation for this role includes a salary range of C$65,000 to C$115,000 per year, with benefits such as medical, group retirement plans, vision and dental insurance, significant paid time off, preferential partner discounts, and employee mental health awareness days.
