Manager / Senior Manager, Finance, Revenue Accounting
Lila Sciences is seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Revenue Manager to oversee the operational execution of revenue accounting for licensing, collaboration, and other complex revenue agreements. This role is integral to the finance function, focusing on ensuring accurate, timely, and scalable revenue processes, partner reporting, and billing operations.
The Revenue Manager will be responsible for day-to-day revenue accounting operations, translating contract terms into operational workflows for revenue recognition, billing, and reporting. They will ensure revenue is recorded accurately and consistently in accordance with established accounting policies. Additionally, the role involves reviewing revenue agreements, summarizing key accounting and operational terms, and applying ASC 606 principles to support proper treatment of revenue. The manager will also lead monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, maintain supporting schedules, and support financial reporting and audit requests.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to revenue recognition, and a strong working knowledge of ASC 606. Experience in operationalizing revenue processes, reviewing contracts, and translating terms into accounting workflows is essential. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple agreements simultaneously, and excellent organizational and cross-functional communication skills are also required.
