Manager / Senior Manager, Product Marketing, Physical Science
Lila Sciences is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for its AI-driven materials and chemistry platform. This role operates at the intersection of physical science domains, autonomous experimentation, and AI modeling, aiming to translate complex technologies into clear narratives and compelling launches. The successful candidate will engage with industrial R&D leaders, sustainability teams, and strategic partners to drive adoption in sectors such as energy, chemicals, and advanced materials.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing go-to-market plans for new physical science capabilities, translating technical milestones into market-ready packages, and aligning product launches with commercial strategies to maximize impact. The role also involves crafting value-based messaging that communicates how Lila’s platform accelerates catalyst and materials discovery, LNP design, and the development of coatings, sorbents, and quantum materials. Additionally, the manager will produce technical content, enable sales teams with high-impact collateral, monitor competitive landscapes, and represent Lila at events and partner sessions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a PhD being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS or technical product marketing is required, preferably within lab informatics, scientific software, or AI/ML applications for physical sciences, energy, or advanced materials. Strong project management skills, the ability to translate complex technical data into compelling narratives, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Lila Sciences offers competitive compensation, including bonus potential and generous early equity. The expected base salary range for this position is $108,000 to $186,667 per year, reflecting the candidate's unique background, expertise, and impact.
