The Manager/Senior Manager of Strategic Events at Lila Sciences will lead the company's global external events function, overseeing a portfolio of high-impact programs such as flagship Lila events, executive summits, investor and partner gatherings, policy convenings, and key third-party conferences. This role is pivotal in driving pipeline development, fostering relationships, attracting talent, and enhancing the brand's presence. Lila Sciences is at the forefront of integrating AI into the scientific method, aiming to solve humanity's most pressing challenges.

Key responsibilities include developing a 12–18 month strategic events roadmap aligned with company priorities and go-to-market strategies, defining clear objectives and KPIs for each event, and owning the strategy and execution for flagship and executive-level events. The role also involves leading cross-functional planning with various teams to ensure events are fully integrated with product, PR, content, and recruiting efforts. Managing budgets, agencies, and vendors, as well as designing immersive experiences that showcase Lila's AI platform and scientific breakthroughs, are also essential duties.

Candidates should possess 10–15+ years of experience in strategic events, event marketing, or experiential marketing, ideally within B2B tech, life sciences, or AI sectors. A proven track record of managing a global events portfolio that serves multiple senior audiences is crucial. Strong program management skills, the ability to define and track event ROI using CRM and marketing tools, excellent storytelling and communication abilities, experience managing vendors and influencing C-suite leaders, and a willingness to travel 25–40% for events are required.

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $186,667 USD, along with bonus potential and generous early-stage equity. Full-time U.S. employees receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; employer-paid life and disability insurance; flexible time off; paid parental leave; educational assistance; commuter benefits; and a company-subsidized lunch program.

Lila Sciences fosters a culture of truth, trust, curiosity, grit, and velocity, moving with startup speed while tackling problems of historic importance. The company is committed to equal employment opportunity and encourages applications from individuals who are passionate about integrating AI into the scientific method to address humanity's greatest challenges.
