Manager, Site Contracts & Payments Management
The Manager, Site Contracts & Payments Management at Legend Biotech is responsible for overseeing site contracting and investigator payment processes across the company's clinical studies. This role is integral to the Clinical Operations team, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of contracts and payments, and serves as a central point of accountability for improving operational effectiveness and financial discipline.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to develop and monitor process workflows, collaborating with internal departments such as Accounts Payable, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and study teams to align and enhance contracting and payment processes, and monitoring key milestones to ensure timely contract execution and payment. The role also involves supporting reconciliation efforts, resolving issues related to site contracting and payments, and coordinating vendor due diligence and risk assessment activities.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and have at least seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry. Strong experience in vendor oversight, site contracts, and investigator payments is required, along with proficiency in working cross-functionally with departments like Accounts Payable, Procurement, Finance, and Legal. Experience with SAP/4 HANA and establishing key performance indicators is preferred. Oncology, cell therapy, or early-phase clinical operations experience is also advantageous.
