Media Investment Manager

The Media Investment Manager at WPP Media plays a pivotal role in implementing negotiation strategies to ensure profitability and adherence to processes across various media platforms. This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments to facilitate seamless communication and execution of media plans.

Key responsibilities include providing essential negotiation information to relevant departments, preparing and analyzing cost reports, managing client audits, and understanding client marketing strategies to support media mix planning. The role also involves supervising processes, making corrective decisions to address deviations, evaluating media offers to optimize resources, negotiating with media outlets, and maintaining constant communication with global teams to monitor agreements and results.

Candidates must have substantial experience in media investment roles, particularly in television negotiation, with proven skills in tactical negotiation, agreement monitoring, and audit reporting. Experience in digital media negotiation is highly valued. Proficiency in media analysis tools like Instar Analytics, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and fluency in English are essential. A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields is required, with postgraduate studies being advantageous.
