Medical Malpractice Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their growing department in Atlanta or Alpharetta, Georgia. The firm is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals against large corporations and insurance companies. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex cases within an established practice group.

The Medical Malpractice Attorney will manage cases from intake through resolution, including trial preparation and trial. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. The attorney will guide clients through the case process and interact with expert witnesses, including drafting expert reports and affidavits. Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances are also required.

Candidates must possess a law degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar Association. A minimum of 5 years of medical malpractice experience, preferably representing plaintiffs, is required. The ideal candidate should be able to manage a high volume of cases, demonstrate excellent client service and communication skills, and possess superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
