Microbiologist

The Microbiologist will be responsible for performing assigned testing activities according to established methods, ensuring accurate and timely results. Key duties include conducting laboratory activities in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, participating in accreditation processes, and maintaining adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures. The role also involves organizing daily testing activities, maintaining confidentiality of customer data, and upholding health and safety protocols within the laboratory environment.

Candidates should possess a tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field with a strong focus on Microbiology. Experience in microbiology testing procedures and an understanding of industry testing requirements are essential. Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements and certification as an MJMM Food Analyst are advantageous.
