Mid-weight Print Designer (9-month, Contract)

Canva is seeking a Mid-weight Print Designer for a 9-month full-time contract. This role involves creating high-quality print designs across various formats, including marketing materials, templates, and collateral, while ensuring all outputs align with Canva's brand standards and are functional, editable, and scalable within Canva templates.

Key responsibilities include preparing print-ready files with correct specifications, conducting pre-flight checks, managing file setup and export requirements, and understanding print production methods and constraints. The designer will also contribute to developing modular, reusable, and user-friendly templates and assets, and explore the integration of AI tools to enhance design workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in visual design principles, experience in print processes and production workflows, proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Affinity, and familiarity with AI tools to support design workflows. Attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables efficiently are essential.
