As a Network Engineer in Solution Test, your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for Arista’s suite of networking products and solutions. You will be tasked with identifying defects, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring robust interoperability across devices and systems. Daily tasks include lab work, test scripting, collaboration with engineering and product teams, and troubleshooting complex networking issues stemming from customer use cases.
Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with hands-on experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, routing protocols, and network automation. Practical knowledge of network test equipment, scripting languages such as Python, and familiarity with large-scale network environments are highly preferred. Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
