Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) - NYC
The Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) role at Arista Networks is focused on providing expert technical support to the sales team in the New York City region. As a member of a collaborative pre-sales engineering team, the successful candidate will work closely with prospective clients to design networking solutions and demonstrate the value of Arista’s cloud networking portfolio. In this role, you will partner with account executives to understand client requirements, respond to requests for information and proposals, and participate in customer meetings and product demonstrations. You will be responsible for conducting technical presentations, building proof-of-concept lab environments, and providing hands-on support to ensure customers’ networking needs are met. Your daily interactions will involve both technical and non-technical stakeholders as you advocate for Arista’s technology.
Candidates should possess a deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, data center architecture, and network security concepts. Strong experience with Ethernet, IP routing, switching, and network operating systems is required. Ideal applicants will have a background in a customer-facing engineering role, along with excellent communication and presentation skills. Professional certifications such as CCIE or equivalent are highly desirable.
