New Business Development Manager
The New Business Development Manager at Eurofins' SAM France division is responsible for identifying and engaging new clients across strategic sectors such as Food, Beverage, Alcohol, Health & Beauty, Pet Food, QSR, and Sports Equipment. This role involves planning and executing lead generation activities through various communication channels, converting leads into sales opportunities, and collaborating with Key Account Managers to nurture and expand business with existing key accounts. The position reports to the SAM France Managing Director and may be based in Paris, Nantes, or Aix-en-Provence.
Key responsibilities include identifying and targeting new accounts via social media, direct email, industry conferences, and other means; re-engaging lapsed clients to rebuild relationships; leveraging strategic client partnerships to create new opportunities; conducting market monitoring to understand trends and client needs; and leading internal commercial meetings. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with SAM marketing to build the company's LinkedIn following, creating and managing an active emailing strategy, developing digital sales materials, organizing trade shows and conferences, and working with research managers to ensure high-quality proposals are delivered to new client opportunities.
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, including articulate oral and written abilities, and the capacity to manage win-win outcomes. They should demonstrate agility, flexibility, and adaptability in dealing with changing information and priorities. Organizational skills are essential, with the ability to plan work, multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. A solid business acumen is required to help clients identify their business needs and craft solutions that meet both client budgets and company financial targets. The candidate should also exhibit professionalism, responsibility, accountability, and reliability in their work.
