Nordics Lead
Canva is seeking a Nordics Lead to drive user growth and revenue in the Nordic region. This role involves collaborating with local and global teams across marketing, sales, product, content, and finance to develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year growth strategy. The Nordics Lead will be responsible for key performance indicators, including Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Key responsibilities include optimizing Canva's product, content, pricing, and packaging to meet the needs of local users, informed by a deep understanding of local market dynamics and cultural nuances. The role also entails inspiring and coaching the in-market team, ensuring high-impact performance, and working closely with local specialty leads on performance management. Additionally, the Nordics Lead will represent Canva as a local figurehead across press, PR, events, and community engagements, and build high-value relationships by acting as a local sponsor for enterprise sales, education, government, and partnerships.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Swedish and English, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with experience in building markets, and has a strong analytical focus on KPIs. They should be product-oriented with a passion for improving user experience, have experience in public speaking and acting as a public face to stakeholders, and be well-networked with connections in government, corporates, influencers, journalists, and local talent. Proven leadership skills, high emotional intelligence, and alignment with Canva's mission and values are essential.
