This role encompasses full ownership of the state's profit and loss statement, including revenue, margin, working capital, and headcount. The General Manager leads a cross-functional team covering operations, commercial activities, and compliance, aiming to establish Nabis as the indispensable wholesale partner for cannabis brands and retailers in New York.

Key responsibilities include overseeing end-to-end physical operations such as warehousing, fleet management, last-mile delivery, and inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with METRC standards. The role also involves leading the commercial team to drive brand acquisition, retailer engagement, and the adoption of Nabis's financial services. Maintaining strong relationships with state and local regulators to ensure audit-ready compliance and licensing is essential. Additionally, the General Manager represents Nabis at industry events and in media engagements, while building and developing a high-performing, cross-functional team.

Candidates should possess at least 8 years of progressive leadership experience, including a minimum of 3 years with P&L responsibility. Preferred backgrounds include high-growth marketplace or logistics operations, large-scale cannabis operations, regulated CPG distribution, or leadership in multi-site operations. An MBA or equivalent is advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with experience in designing and managing physical operations, understands real-time marketplace dynamics, has a strong commercial acumen, and is adept at navigating regulated industries. A proactive approach, clear communication skills, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments are crucial. Willingness to be on-site full-time in the market and to travel 20–30% across Nabis facilities is required.
