Office-based Video Data Contributor (Part-time)
Workstream is seeking part-time Office-based Video Data Contributors to assist in training robotics systems by recording everyday activities in their Menlo Park lab. Participants will use a multi-camera setup, including head, chest, and wrist-mounted cameras, to capture tasks that help robots better understand and interact with real-world environments. This role does not require technical experience, only attention to detail and the ability to follow simple instructions.
Key responsibilities include recording structured, guided tasks such as picking up, placing, stacking, and organizing objects; sorting items by size, color, or category; using simple tools like scissors or utensils; cleaning and tidying surfaces; folding laundry; and reaching for and placing objects at different distances. Participants are expected to capture 20 hours of high-quality video per week in the office.
Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to travel to Menlo Park. They should be authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen or Green Card holder), detail-oriented, comfortable performing light physical tasks, able to move naturally during recordings, reliable, punctual, and willing to complete a background check.
Compensation is $20.00 per hour of quality footage produced. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and does not include benefits or equity.
