Operations Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Operations Paralegal to join our Personal Injury Operations Department. This role involves providing operational oversight to attorneys, ensuring efficient case progression, and contributing to strategic initiatives within the department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple project activities to accomplish strategic objectives, scheduling depositions, coordinating with courts and defense counsel, and ensuring timely filing of attorney cases within 90 days. The Operations Paralegal will also assist in trial preparations, conduct legal research, manage files, and prepare witnesses for trial. Additionally, the role involves auditing attorney and staff tasks, establishing efficient processes, and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures for case management.
Candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of legal terminology and possess three to five years of paralegal experience. A paralegal degree or certification from an accredited institution is required, along with knowledge of Florida law. The role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, and impeccable organizational abilities. A commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The position offers a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
