Paralegal
A leading energy-sector organization is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Brisbane-based legal team on a long-term engagement through to the end of 2026. This role offers high visibility across major commercial and regulatory projects, supporting senior lawyers on contract management, compliance, stakeholder liaison, and operational governance. The position is ideal for a detail-driven legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, business-facing environment and enjoys contributing to complex matters within a regulated industry undergoing significant transformation.
Key responsibilities include reviewing base-level agreements, managing renewals and extensions, drafting and preparing materials for legal team review, and maintaining internal communications. The Paralegal will also manage calendars, support daily workflow, schedule professional development sessions, organize meetings with external legal advisers, and maintain accurate records to support legal operations.
The ideal candidate will have relevant legal training and experience in contracts, redlining, compliance, or general paralegal support. The role requires on-site work in the Brisbane office, with consistent in-person attendance approximately three days per week for the duration of the engagement. Immediate availability and the ability to quickly integrate into active workflows are essential.
