As a Paralegal at Sutton Law Firm, you will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys and clients through various family law proceedings.
In this role, you will independently manage a high-volume family law caseload, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of case preparation. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and e-filing pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses. You will maintain detailed and organized case files, track firm and court deadlines, and prepare attorneys for hearings, mediations, and trials, including exhibit preparation. Effective communication with clients, maintaining empathy while managing sensitive cases, and ensuring strict adherence to court rules and procedural requirements are also essential components of this position.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess an active Florida Registered Paralegal license in good standing and have meaningful experience in family law. Experience in general civil or personal injury law is not sufficient.
