Payroll Incident & Risk Lead
The Payroll Incident & Risk Lead at Remote is a pivotal role within the Payroll Strategy & Compliance team, focusing on the strategic development and execution of global payroll risk and incident management. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing global risk management frameworks for payroll operations, new product features, and market expansion. You will lead cross-functional risk assessments, manage the global payroll risk register, and drive the strategic use of risk scoring tools. Additionally, you will serve as the escalation point for complex payroll incidents, establish processes for triaging and resolving incidents, and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts to ensure organizational learning and improvement.
Candidates should have extensive experience in payroll risk management, incident response, compliance, or operations management, preferably within global payroll, finance, SaaS, or regulated industries. Proven ability to lead incident response and implement data-driven solutions, expertise in designing and scaling risk governance frameworks, and experience mentoring or managing teams in a remote-first environment are essential. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and high emotional intelligence are also required.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $49,900 to $112,300 USD.
