Performance Quality Engineer

The Performance Quality Engineer at 8am will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our professional business platform, which serves legal, accounting, and client-focused professionals. As part of our dedicated Quality Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to uphold and enhance the performance standards of our suite of solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing performance testing strategies, identifying bottlenecks, and providing actionable insights to optimize system performance. Your day-to-day activities will include developing automated performance tests, analyzing system metrics, and working with cross-functional teams to address performance issues proactively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing methodologies, experience with performance testing tools, and a solid understanding of software development and deployment processes. Proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures are also essential.
