Personal Injury Associate Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, APC, a prominent law firm headquartered in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm specializes in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Immigration Law, Criminal Defense, and Civil Rights, with over 1,200 employees and more than 130 associate attorneys across 12 offices nationwide.

As a Personal Injury Associate Attorney, you will manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters in litigation. Your responsibilities will include preparing and drafting legal documents, such as filing complaints and drafting meet and confer letters regarding discovery disputes. You will also prepare clients for depositions and other hearings, take and defend depositions, prepare and respond to motions, attend court appearances, negotiate settlements, and support investigations on assigned litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in Personal Injury Law, with a strong background in Personal Injury Litigation, including pre-litigation case management and discovery. A Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with the California State Bar are required. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in Workers' Compensation is a plus, along with skills in written discovery and conducting depositions.
