The Pilot Plant Technician at Eurofins' National Food Lab plays a crucial role in supporting the development of safe and successful food, beverage, and supplement products. This position involves maintaining and operating pilot plant equipment to assist in product and process development initiatives. The technician will work closely with process development staff to ensure the pilot plant operates efficiently and meets project objectives.

Key responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining pilot plant equipment, as well as assisting in the execution of projects under supervisor direction. The technician will handle the receipt and storage of products and ingredients, accurately weigh and prepare samples for testing, and assist with labeling, packaging, and shipping. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is essential, along with maintaining accurate documentation and inventory management.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with one or more years of college or technical training preferred. Experience in basic mechanical repair and the use of cleaning equipment is beneficial. While not required, experience in food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical pilot plant or manufacturing environments is a plus. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, energetic, and capable of learning in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a salary range between $60,000 and $65,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.
