Planner
As a Planner at WPP Media Hong Kong, you will be an integral part of our client team, contributing to the development and execution of comprehensive media plans. This role involves managing day-to-day campaign activities and serving as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless coordination and effective delivery. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, combining media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.
Your key responsibilities will include developing foundational media plans across various channels, such as digital, social, and traditional media, based on client briefs and strategic direction. You will oversee the daily management of media campaigns, ensuring they are executed flawlessly, on schedule, and within budget. Additionally, you will monitor live campaigns, analyze performance data to identify insights and trends, and contribute to the development of client-facing reports. Coordinating with clients and media vendors to gather information and proposals will also be a crucial part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in media planning or digital media roles, preferably within a media agency. A strong understanding of the media landscape and the fundamentals of media planning and buying is essential. Experience with industry tools such as ad-serving platforms (e.g., Sizmek, Campaign Manager 360) and competitive monitoring tools (e.g., admanGo) is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are also required. Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is necessary.
