Post-Conviction Relief Attorney

The United Firm | La Liga Defensora, A.P.C. is seeking a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney to join their team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. As a Post-Conviction Relief Attorney, you will be responsible for handling cases related to post-conviction relief, including motions to vacate, expungements, motions to reduce, and early termination of probation. You will advise clients on their legal rights, draft legal documents, and attend motion hearings on their behalf. Collaboration with the Post-Conviction Relief Team, consisting of attorneys and legal assistants, will be essential. Additionally, you may handle open criminal cases, including arraignments, pre-trials, pleas, and sentencing.

Ideal candidates should have experience in criminal defense or immigration law, with a focus on post-conviction relief cases. Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
