Practice Assistant in Private Equity - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Practice Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in their London office. This role is integral to the Private Equity team, providing essential support to fee earners and collaborating with various Business Professionals teams to ensure seamless operations. The Practice Assistant will be responsible for managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings across different time zones, and arranging domestic and international travel. Additional duties include preparing and drafting correspondence, pitch materials, and presentations, as well as organizing and attending internal and external events. The role also involves supporting financial processes, such as managing expenses and invoices, and assisting with document management tasks, including filing, scanning, and archiving.
Ideal candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in professional services, particularly in complex diary management and international travel coordination, is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*–C / 9–4), including English and Maths, is required.
