Pre-Suit Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, P.A., a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to join their team in Miami and/or Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in personal injury law at a premier plaintiff firm, working alongside seasoned attorneys committed to mentoring and advising those new to the field.
As a Pre-Suit Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all pre-litigation activities, including guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, and overseeing settlement negotiations. You will also manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers, focusing primarily on personal injury cases, particularly automotive incidents. Additional duties include completing the Flip-to-Lit approval, handling EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements, and ensuring compliance with key performance indicators.
Candidates should possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association. A minimum of 2 years of personal injury experience is required, with the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Strong client service and communication skills, leadership abilities, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential. A self-starter driven by long-term career goals and a desire to become part of a trial team is highly desirable.
