Pre-Suit Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to join their Richmond, Virginia office. The firm is dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals against large corporations and insurance companies, with a mission centered on consumer advocacy. As a Pre-Suit Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in managing pre-litigation processes for personal injury cases, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support from the outset.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling all pre-litigation tasks, including drafting and filing necessary documents, guiding clients through the case process, and overseeing settlement negotiations. You will manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers, ensuring compliance with key performance indicators and maintaining high standards of client service. Your duties will also involve conducting examinations under oath (EUOs), taking recorded statements, and managing the release approval process.
The ideal candidate will possess a law degree from an accredited institution and be an active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar Association. A minimum of two years of personal injury experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Strong leadership skills, excellent client service and communication abilities, and a desire to become part of a trial team are essential. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills are also necessary for success in this position.
