Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the rights of individuals, is seeking a qualified Pre-Suit Secretary to join our office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the law firm's day-to-day operations, including carrying out administrative services and supporting the legal team. This position's ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic workplace.

As a Pre-Suit Secretary, your primary responsibilities will include assisting case managers and attorneys with organizing, filing, and maintaining client files for up to 100 cases. You will collect check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership as requested and submit them for processing. Additionally, you will copy documents and demand packages, complete certified mail cards, mail documents and cost checks, perform general office duties such as typing and sorting mail, create new and existing client folders, prepare and send various letters and contracts, and send out demand letters.

The ideal candidate should possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred). Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also preferred. While one year of experience in the legal field is a plus, it is not mandatory. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing and file management, is essential. The candidate must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong written and communication skills, high organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, with a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are required.

This position offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour. For full-time employees, we offer an excellent benefits package including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
