Pricing Operations Specialist
The Pricing Operations Specialist at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is a key member of the Revenue Operations Team, reporting to the Pricing Operations Manager. This role focuses on managing and maintaining accurate client-negotiated rates and discount information, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines, and supporting various financial operations within the firm.
Key responsibilities include documenting client fee arrangements through collaboration with internal teams and partners, supporting the annual rate review cycle, and managing the creation and maintenance of rate cards. The specialist will also administer client rate schedules, alternative fee arrangements, and discount structures in Aderant, ensuring accurate tracking and implementation. Additionally, the role involves auditing fee arrangements and matter setups, preparing rate sheets for client submissions, and ensuring firm compliance with client billing requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, with an MBA or other advanced degree being a plus. A minimum of three years of experience in billing, e-billing, pricing, or a related role within a corporate or law firm setting is required. The role demands a detail-oriented and well-organized individual with excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP), Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings to meet deadlines is also necessary.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000, with the actual salary depending on factors such as skills, education, experience, and performance.
