Principal Account Manager
The Principal Account Manager at Veracode is a pivotal role focused on driving additional revenue within existing enterprise accounts. This position is integral to Veracode's mission of providing cutting-edge application security solutions, ensuring clients achieve their risk and security objectives through innovative technologies.
Key responsibilities include identifying and executing opportunities for account expansion through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting deeper platform adoption. The role involves uncovering customer needs, aligning them with Veracode's value proposition, and articulating differentiated value. Managing the full sales cycle using the MEDDPICC methodology, building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering accurate forecasts and account updates are also essential duties. Collaboration with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and influence the product roadmap based on client feedback.
Candidates should possess a strong sales acumen, strategic mindset, and a passion for assisting enterprise clients in achieving their security goals. Experience in account expansion, discovery and value alignment, sales process execution, relationship management, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
